Why Was the OMT Thread Deleted?

Aside from the offensive pics thread, I'm not sure I've ever seen a thread in the RR just straight up deleted.

I thought the RR was where bashing shit was moved to...so why was this particular one deleted, while others are allowed to stay?

Just wondering, never seen that before.

They delete threads in the RR often now. About 2 weeks ago i bumped the PO69/Journey pager thread, asking PO69 what the Shrink paid him off to get him to drop the matter. The next day the thread was gone.

Damn, I wasn't aware of this shit. That's fucked up. Threads shouldn't be allowed to be completely deleted, no record of their existence whatsoever.

I'm not sure what thread you mean...I know a few ghosts registered tonight to bash OMT...I will see if I can find out if its that important to you...it was probably a ghost taking a shot at Ted.

Because it was temporarily moved here from NCAAB. Following that, it was discovered that the 'shit starter" was a ghost(who proceeded to attempt to register as 4-6 other ghosts today-before and after taking that childish shot).

No IP matches that I've found to anyone with a posting history. But he started off with 2 earlier today(youyou12 and josh12) & then tried to add a few more later that never made it through.

All using the same "spoofed" IP address.

All that happened was the thread title was changed from "Fuck OldManTed" to "YouYou12" who started the thread and made up the thread title, he was a first time poster and like TT says had created several ghosts with bogus information. We banned 5 user names created by this guy after the original intent to bash Ted was discovered. He had no other posts than the one that is in the thread linked below.

Natrually the thread will most likely become part of the urban legend that The Rx. delete's threads.

Everyday we have two factions on either side of this issue.

Faction 1. Why does the Rx. alllow these newbies to come in here and bash or curse veteran well known cappers like OldManTed etc..

Faction 2.What happened to the thread that bashed so and so, or why was the thread that told so and so to go fuck himself deleted.


Basically a can't win situation for the moderators.

I think that thread ended up in the new enviornment forum or if it was deleted it was due to pressure from posters complaining about the content of the thread. I know I got several emails saying what is The Rx.turning into because of that thread. Some people felt the practices recommended were unethical at best.

The Rx. like all of the other forums rely on sponsers to survive so posting threads that explain how to beat them without any risk or gamble is not a very good business move.

So the complaining emails you got were from sponsors? I have reason to believe that the only ones who would have complained to you are those who did not want it ruined for themselves.
